Avocado is often served as a savory dish in this part of the world: in guacamole, in burritos, on salads, in sandwiches, etc. However, avocado can be a delicious, sweet treat. In many parts of the world, however, avocado is served sweet, in shakes, drinks and desserts. If you’ve never tried a sweet avocado shake, you have to try this. It’s so simply to make and tastes very rich, creamy and delicious!
Simply adjust the level of sweetness to your taste, and add skim milk for a lighter version or whole milk for a richer version. By the way, my kids absolutely devoured this drink, and with avocado being so full of healthy vitamins and minerals, I didn’t have any guilt associated with them loving this drink so much. Sure it has some added sugar, but I didn’t add a lot of sugar to their drink, so it was a really healthy, really tasty drink that they LOVED.
